How wonderful it is to fill the house with greenery at Christmas time. Hang these fragrant and festive evergreen swags on many of the doors in your house; hang them over the fireplace; hang them on the front door.
- Several evergreen boughs (save the trimmings from your tree)
- Twine
- Green and red ribbons
- Copper wire or green twist ties
- Hot-glue gun or glue sticks
- Small Christmas ornaments and trinkets
Tie your evergreen boughs together with twine. Where they are joined, decorate with red and green ribbons or attach a large bow using hot glue, twisted copper wire, or twist ties.
If ornaments have hook loops on them, attach them to swag using twisted coper wire or twist ties. If not, use hot glue.
When all glue is dry, wrap a piece of twine around branches at top of swag and knot, leaving a loop large enough to hand from a nail. Hang over the door or on the wall.
